Visitor Visa Status : Applied through VFS

Hi friends,

We applied for a visitor visa (paper application) through VFS India. It has almost been 3 weeks since the application was submitted.
VFS only shows the processing status but is there anyway to check the status of visa?

You can try linking your paper application to your online account. Once you do this, all updates will be notified only in your MyCIC account. You will not be contacted by email

My passport has been dispatched. Would I be able to get the status of visa immediately if I link the application?

You can try linking it. And check for the Final decision update

I tried linking it but it says "No applications found for the details entered"
Guess I'll have to wait for the passport to arrive.

I JUST GOT MESSAGE AT 9:30 PM ON MY PHONE THAT MY PASSPORT HAS BEEN DISPATCHED. IS IT MANDATORY TO RECIEVE THE CONFIRMATION EMAIL. I APPLIED ON 1 MARCH VIA PAPER APPLICATION. PLS UPDATE ME ON IT
