Visitor visa query

I got my CoPR and I am landing in Canada in April. I wish to take my mother with me for initial few months on a tourist visa.

Some details about my mother

Single, retired govt servant, only one child (me) and reciever of monthly pension, US visa holder and no travel history.

What are her chances of getting a tourist (visit visa)?

I have a family friend in Canada who can provide sponsorship letter. I can provide proof of monthly income of my mother, she has a few properties in her name in India. Her brothers and sisters stay in India.

Since she already has a US visa, we were thinking of showing a 2 weeks US trip and in between that a visit for 3-4 days to niagara falls in Canada from US by road.
Or can I show her visit to my family friend for 2 weeks
Please advise what to do?

To get a visa there are some basic requirements.
Eligibility
You must meet some basic requirements to get a visitor visa. You must:

• have a valid travel document, like a passport
• be in good health
• have no criminal or immigration-related convictions
• convince an immigration officer that you have ties—such as a job, home, financial assets or family—that will take you back to your home country
• convince an immigration officer that you will leave Canada at the end of your visit
• have enough money for your stay
  • The amount of money you will need depends on how long you will stay and if you will stay in a hotel, or with friends or relatives.

You may also need a medical exam and letter of invitation from someone who lives in Canada.

She can do fine in getting her approval but honestly saing, the chances are Low
I heve seen better profiles geting refused and worse ones being aproved.
no one Can tell you the exact outcome give it a try and you can be suprised

Thanks. Will it hurt her chances later on if she gets rejected once?

Definetely yes
A previows refusal affects the next application for real
But does not mean they will not get a visa
It is just a matter of improving on the reason for refusal.
Again I have see a guy who got an approval after 5 failed attempt.
