VISITOR VISA: purpose of my visit box in application form

Hi all,

Happy Canada Day in advance!

I was applying to extend my stay as a visitor in Canada and my reasons for being here are so that I can declare common law status next year in February and then apply for permanent residency. So that I improve the chances of getting my Visitor visa approved (currently on a work permit from the international experience program which cannot be renewed or extended as I am a New Zealand citizen), how bad/good would it be to place the reason as "To be with my partner".

Hi, did you got any answer? I have the same kind of situation and im looking for what reason i should say in my application to extend stay.
