Hi,
I would like to apply Visitor Visa for my Parents. They are both retired. I am a Permanent Resident of Canada. And So does my Sister. I would like to invite them here for a very short trip. They have a house and 4 plots in their name. Plus a retirement settlement of 15 lakhs (for the past 4 years). My mom is the primary caretaker of her mom (my Grand mom) since she is almost 80.
Am currently worried about the ties to thehome country because both of us are in PR status here and they are retired.
Supervisa would be my least priority not because of the insurance but because of the prolonged processing time, unpredictable approval rate and insufficient history from my side (I just immigrated last month and I am looking for a Job. And Even if I do get a job, it's said that I have to produce 1 year of paystub and I really cannot wait that long). And my parents cannot live here for more than 2 or 3 months because they cannot keep their house locked forever and this unsupportive weather is not helping.
So what are my options in this case?
Any possibility for Visitor Visa? If yes, What are the supplementary docs do I have to produce? You inputs are much needed. Thanks a ton in advance.

Visitor visa sounds like the best option. I would recommend waiting another 5-6 months before they apply given you just came here last month so that it doesn't look like you are trying to move them here to stay with you long term.
When they apply, they will want to provide evidence showing ties to their home county and also show they have the funds saved to cover the costs of a visit to Canada.

Would add that a visit of 2-3 months basically negates the claim that your mother is the primary caregiver of your grandmother. They should be requesting a much shorter visit. Although technically a year of pay stubs may be listed for proof of LICO for a supervisa IRCC almost always wants to see your NOA. If you’re unemployed right now you may not have enough income to meet LICO for 2025 if they would like to apply for a supervisa. You need to be careful with the wording you use in their invitation letter. Whether on a normal visa or supervisa they are only visiting Canada. Processing can also take many months for a normal TRV. Either you are processed quickly because AI is involved or your application needs to be processed manually which takes much longer. Passport stamping is also backlogged in India so that may add another month. As previously stated given your recent arrival in Canada and the fact your sister is already living in Canada would suggest waiting to apply for the TRV to eliminate concerns that they are trying to move to Canada with you. If your sister is more established in Canada I would actually suggest she invite them assuming you don’t live together.

Thanks for the reply. Actually me and my Sister are not living together. And I am definitely not planning to invite them now... Probably after 5 or 6 months... But Supervisa requires too much waiting, Like Wait for a year to show regular sufficient income + Process of Supervisa is already slow (7 to 8 months). Which almost takes 2 years solid. This is the concern from my side.
So Can I mention in the invitation letter that my Parents will be visiting here for a week or two.? Provided they already have a savings of 25000 CAD equivalent in their account (for almost 4 years). Definitely not now.
She is the Primary Caregiver for her mom but My mom also has a Younger Brother so while they visit, my Grandmom will stay in her Son's house.

Sorry my bad. I failed to mention about when I was planning to apply. Definitely after 5-6 months.
for sure, they can cover their own costs since they have 25k CAD equivalent in their account for almost 4 years since their retirement. So, them having property and taking care of her mother. Are these enough to demonstrate the strong ties or any further documentation needed?

Supervisa processing times are often similar to TRVs. If your application is processing primarily by AI then you get faster processing. You can certainly try to apply for a TRV. Do not book tickets until they have a TRV.
