GCMS notes contains detailed description of the file. if there is anything specific due to which visa officer refused application. it will contain way more information. it take 4 weeks to get GCMS notes. Someone has to be in canada to apply those notes. 5$ is fees.

i applied visitor visa for my mother through an Agent in Bangalore on Feb 5th with the following documents and got Visa on 24th:
1. husband company letter
2. invite letter
3. husband Canada bank statement
4. Mothers pension statement
5. Mothers Form 16/Income tax statement for past 3 years
6. NOC from my father
7. Fathers ID card.
9. Mothers Passport
10. Husband COPR(landing papers/PR Card)
11. Mothers 6 months bank statement
12. My passport

Normally it takes 10 working days.

I applied online for my Mother-in-laws TRV on 12th Feb and received passport request today 25th Feb. So as per Indian time it took 9 working days for passport request.

i have to apply visitor visa for my parents (father retired) and sister who is under 18 years. I am not sure how much funds i need to show. moreover after reading few cases here for refusal i am little scared. please suggest appropriate documents and funds.

its a thumb rule to h ave 10k$ per person.
the more doc the better..moveable assests etc... home country attachments.

While applying TRV online,
1.we are unable to save filed forms to local machine....then how to upload it browsing computer...
2. do we compulsory need to book tickets in advance?.....if not then what should we upload in "Purpose of Travel"
