Visitor visa for wife’s family who just diagnosed with a brain cancer with 1-2 years life expectancy

Hello everyone.
Never thought I’ll be taking advice on a matter like this. I am a Permanent resident and living with my wife, 7 years old daughter. This March, my wife got diagnosed with a brain cancer 4th Grade and she’s undergoing treatments therefore we cannot go to our home country. My wife is missing her mother and brother so much. I thought to apply for their visitor visa that got declined. Was it suppose to be rejected at this point ? Please help me what can I do, should I put reconsideration or submit a whole new application? For the documents, I only submitted medical records. No MP letter or a doctor’s note that says we need family support. Please help me I am so much tensed

Did you recently get your PR and was your wife included in the application? You seem to have only received your PGWP in 2021. Why was yourMIL denied? Did her brother apply separately If he is an adult?
