My niece who is 9 years old wanted to visit us in Canada for her summer holidays. I applied for her visa along with my mother. My mother visa got approved but her got rejected. In the letter visa officer gave several factors but main includes her length of stay and reasons to travel to Canada. Can I write letter to High Commission in India requesting for re-consider their decision. Would that be of any benefit.
Requesting the High Commission/visa office to reconsider their decision will not help. The only option is to reapply with stronger ties/better evidence/shorter visit length, etc to address the refusal reasons
