hi guys.. i know this pandemic has blown off everyone's mind. But I seriously need some advice.
1)We booked tickets for my mother in law for August 3rd and returning on 28th December 2020.(5 months stay)
2) my wife is pregnant and due date is 18th August 2020.
3) we just received CoPR on 26th June 2020 currently we are in canada.
4) applicant got 5L in her bank for financial support as well as own house. She is an state govt employee.
Now question is.. should I apply online and wate for vfs in india to open for biometrics? Or should I wate for vfs in india to open and go for paper application with biometrics as well?
Tickets can be rescheduled.
If she get visa.. will she be able to travel by any chances?
Thank you.

1) This is a very long trip. This generally significantly increases the change of refusal unless someone has extensive previous travel to countries requiring visas (US, UK). Also, you don't need to have a plane ticket booked to apply for a TRV.
2) I would not place very much focus on this. This can make IRCC concerned your mother is coming here long term or plans to help you with child care (which is classified as working illegally).
Whether she will be able to travel in August will depend on whether the visa is approved and what travel restrictions are in place at that time.
Hello,
I am PR and living in Canada. I want to apply for my mother's visit visa online.
If my mother appoints me as non-paying representative and signs all her forms and give me all docs,
is it ok that I apply online on behalf of her from Canada though she is staying in Bangladesh.

Yes, that's what we are doing. We are helping my in-laws with the online application, sending the documents for them to sign. May I ask if you submitted IMM5475 or IMM5476?
Also, TRV paper applications are on hold at the moment.
