Visitor visa for my family

Hi Everybody
I am on a open work permit in Canada. I have applied visitor visa for my wife and kids. I have been waiting for their visa for last 3 months. My own work permit is going to expire in November. That means I am left with only 4 months work permit. will it affect my family’s visitor visa application?
I am thinking of withdrawing their applications and applying again after extending my work permit. what should I do? I will be very thankful for your valuable suggestions?

Why not a SOWP if on a work permit? What NOC? How old are your kids? If school age, apply for study permits.

Actually my noc code is c. My daughter is 8 years old and my son is 3 years old.

Ah so your wife is not eligible for work permit. Your 8 year old should be applying for a study permit. Why withdraw? Might as well see if approve if waiting on extension.
