Hello,
I am on 6 month visitor visa in Canada. My visa is expiring in 1 and half month.
I will be applying for extension visa soon,so while filling up the form is it mandatory to mention any reason for extension ( provide letter of explanation )OR can I just apply straight up ?
Please guide me.
Thanks.

Just like you gave a reason for wanting to visit Canada (Purpose of visit).... in the same way, you must give a reason for wanting to extend your stay.
No valid reason to extend the stay = No extension
Hopefully you are aware that you must also include evidence of how you will financially afford your extended stay
Ok sure,thanks for the information.
