My in laws are in Canada right now on a visitor visa and we want to extend their visitor visa for 6 more months.
My questions are:
The "Document Checklist" states that we need to submit a "Marriage Certificate" which we don't have. What are the options? Is marriage certificate mandatory for visitor visa extension? Their Indian Passport states each other's name as "Spouse". Will a copy of that be sufficient?
When deciding to apply for "Online" vs "Paper", the "Online" questionnaire results suggest doing a new "Medical exam" whereas the Paper checklist doesn't state "Medical Exam" as a pre-requisite. They just did their Medicals in Sep 2017 for the initial visa application . Is Medicals still needed for Extension? They will be going back before the 12 month period for Medicals kicks in.
Can someone help with these questions since the 30 day period is soon approaching.

Copies of their passports + your spouse's birth certificate

For financial support proof, can I attache a letter and tell CIC that I will be supporting them and submit copies of my paystubs, tax statements etc during the extension period?
