I am applying for my mother's visit visa to Canada, she is a resident/citizen on India, However she is currently visiting UK on tourist/visitor visa.
I got confirmation from UK-Can visa office that she can apply from UK.
So, the question is, in the Travel history section what should we mention? The end date of travel history is required there, should we put any date as end date for her current UK stay and explain the details in supporting doc?
I am posting this on behalf of a friend who wants to apply for a Temporary Resident Visa (TRV) to attend a business meeting.
The current estimated processing time for TRV applications in his country of residence exceeds 1000 days! (over 2.5 years)
He intends to visit a different country with a shorter TRV processing time and apply for TRV from there.
Let's assume the below
Citizenship: India Actual Country of Residence: UAE Wish to apply Online from: UK (It is important to note his current status in UK would be "visitor")
My question: What information should he enter for below questions on his application.
What is your residential address? (This is the address where you currently live.)
List your current country or territory of residence, and include any other countries or territories where you have lived for more than six months within the past five years.
Is your mailing address the same as your residential address?
What information on Application helps in routing the application to nearest Embassy / Consulate / Visa Application Center?
