Hi, We are still waiting on my parent’s visitor visa application filed on January 7, biometrics completed on January 13, 2022 on the new portal (IRCC). Radio silence after that. Can other applicants from January share their timelines?

Hi, I applied for my in-laws January 17 and biometrics completed January 21st on the new portal. After that literally nothing happened!

Did your father complete biometrics on June 01?
my mother did her on January 13th but suddenly her profile was updated to show it on June 01 so curious.

If there is an update that means they're doing some processing on the application. So you might get an update soon. So your last updated is showing as June 1st now? @rachiagrawal

No both my parents gave biometrics on 14th January in India but only my mother's profile was updated with biometrics. But on June 1, my father's profile was updated as well.

Yes I saw atleast 3-4 post about biometrics getting updated on June 1st.
I am not sure when the review will start or will it ever start.

Correct, they changed the biometrics completion date from January 13th to June 01 for some reason. But nothing on my father’s application who is the principal applicant

Yes, i also applied in 5 jan 22 and complet biometric in 20 jan but still ther is no status updation in account

I think everyone in same boat. But i found in april application thread few got PPR already and visa stamped! strange

Eligibility Review started today. I hope they process the file within June now.
