Hi,
I’m in Canada on Visitor Visa. Because of flight cancellations under the circumstances I couldn’t fly back to my country. I applied to extend my stay at the beginning of June because my status as a visitor should end in 1 July. I didn’t get any response on my application yet but my visitor visa will expire too on 18July.
Should I try to find a flight and go out of country? Will that cause any problems for me even if I get a visitor record.

don't worry aboyr the visa expiration, you are inside Canada, you only nee a valid visa/counterfoil to enter Canada.
once you get a new visitor record your extension was approved, no matter you visa/counterfol status.

It is the first time I applied for a visitor record, and I don’t know if there is chance that they will reject my application. If it is rejected, probably I need to fly back immediately, but I also don’t want to have any trouble for my future entries. Being uncertain makes me nervous I think
