I am currently in Canada applying for permanent residency, but my working holiday program VISA expires August 13th. I am going to fly home on that date because my flight expires.
My girlfriend is Canadian, and obviously I do not want to go home for 8 months without her.
So, my question is. Can I go back to New Zealand for 2 weeks, then come back to Canada on the 6 months visit?
What will I need? How much money will I have to show. The immigration website doesn't specifically say how much I need. Will letters and payslips from my girlfriend showing her income be enough to shot I have support?
You still have time to apply..it says 30 days before your status expires but they will not penalize you for sending it closer to your status expiry date just make sure its before 13th August..
You will automatically have implied status until a decision is made (it will give you about 80 days)
If you really want to get on your flight you can come back in 2 weeks time the length of time required is 48 hours, When I extended my stay I put that my Husband is supporting me...I added;
- Photocopy of 3 most recent payslips
- A copy of his letter of employment
- A photocopy of his option C Printout..
If you wish to support yourself you need $10,000 + for 6 months..a letter from your girlfriend showing she is willing to support you would be a good idea..
Hello
I have a similar situation, please clarify me.
My mother have multi entry visa, she will enter Canada in January and leaves Canada in April.
She needs to re enter Canada in may or June, is it possible to re enter Canada with 15 to 30 days difference between each entry?
If possible, what are the necessary action I need to do?
If not, when she can re enter Canada again?
Any help appreciated
Thank you
