I need some advice in applying for a visit visa to canada.. i am a filipino working here in Riyadh Saudi Arabia..i am goin to resign this coming march and i' m planning to visit my wife in canada before i go to my home country (Philippines). My wife is a live-in caregiver and shes not a PR yet..Ive read some post here that it is prone for refusal for a visit visa if the spouse was already in canada..What are the best way to do to avoid refusal in my case?
It's difficult to get a TRV if one has a spouse in Canada. It's not *prone to refusal*.... but the chances of refusal are somewhat higher.
To improve your chances of getting a TRV, you must be able to demonstrate strong ties to your country of residence (KSA) and/or home country (Philippines).
These ties are: employment (apply for a TRV months BEFORE you resign), property ownership or rented accommodation, family, financial situation, other commitments or responsibilities + prove your valid immigration status in KSA. Previous travel history helps
