Visit visa for parents on convocation

Hi, please let me know if there are only 20 days left for convocation and if I file a visit visa will they get the visa .. they won’t be coming to the convocation but I just want to apply so that they can come after some months

What’s the best case that I should do or what should I write in the letter of invitation

Have parents even applied for a visa? If not you can include a letter of invitation.

Would not say it is for convocation because it could get denied because most convocations happen in May/June and convocation may have already happened. Visitors don’t typically wait until the very last minute to get a visa and book a flight.
