Hello everyone,
I'm getting engaged in a few days. And marriage is in the month of July. My PR is in progress. I got AOR and I'm expecting P1/P2 emails anytime now. So I'd like to know, is it wise to apply visitor visa for my fiance before marriage or wait until marriage to apply for Spousal sponsorship. I'd like to bring her with me when I'm returning to Canada after marriage. What are chances for approval if I apply visit via now? And can I sponsor her visit visa or ask any of my friends to sponsor? This might be a repeatative question, but I'd happy to get your views on it.

She can certainly apply for a visa. Whether she is approved or not will be based on the strength of her own profile. There is no sponsor for a visitor visa. She should show she has enough funds to pay for the trip and also demonstrate that she has no plans on remaining in Canada long term by showing evidence of ties to her home county like employment and property. If she has previously visited other countries requiring visas, this will strengthen her case.
Okay thanks. But what I’m concerned is, the new rule for visitor visa states that the duration will be given on the basis of the visit. Previously it used to be 10 years or until passport expiry. But now I’m wondering what it would be if we give 2 weeks vacation as reason to visit.

No one here can tell you that. Note that the duration of the visa is not what determines how long someone is allowed to stay in Canada. The length of the visit is determined by CBSA when the person enters Canada.
