Visit Visa applying abroad

Hi,

Me and my wife are going to visit Canada as tourist.

Current my wife is working abroad on temporary work assignment for 2 months and will be back in a couple of weeks time

We are going to apply for the visa online and add her as family memeber travelling with me. I am living in the same country(citizen) we are going to submit our passport to. We are planning to submit the application before she arrives as we have a very tight schedule so submitting the online application before she is back so to speed up the process. We are planning to submit our passports after she arrives to our home country.

My questions is that in my wife's application do we need to specify that she is currently applying from abroad?. She will submit her passport after she is back to our home country but will be abroad at the time of submitting the application

1. She must apply from a country where she is able to demonstrate her strong ties.... not in a country where she has temporary status.

2. She would need to inform IRCC/visa office if she changes her mailing address during the processing of her application
