Hi there. I wish to visit my sister who lives is Calgary this coming october 2013. She is due to give birth and i want to there for her and her 1st born. She said, she will sponsor my accomodations and tickets going to/from canada. I intend to stay for about 3 to 4 months maybe so i can be of help to her after she gave birth. Of course, i also wanted to see the real thing coz i head so many good things about canada. I want to experience how it is to live abroad even for a short while. I intend to be back to my home country Philippines before my child graduates from elementary in March. I am the eldest sister, married, mother of 3 kids ages 14, 11 and 6
Is there a possibility that I will get approved of a visitor visa. thanks?
Yes - you might be able to get an approved visa (it could be a refusal as well). To be approved, you should show strong ties to your home country and demonstrate that you plan to return home at the end of your trip.
