Hi everybody,
I've been living in Canada since June 2013 with a student visa, which I extended last August with a coop visa. I did an internship and got my graduation degree on 30 October.
I studied full time for over 8 months so I am therefore eligible for a post graduation work permit.
Currently in France for Christmas holidays I wanted to apply for a post graduation permit from here.
In doing so I realized that my coop permit had expired on December 4... ( I thought it was expiring on January 4th) while it is clear that a request for a post-graduation permit should be made while having a valid visa.
However, my school degree was obtained on October 30 so I am in still in time for that criterion.
All my professional projects are geared towards this return to Toronto and I am now very worried.
I have not made application on the CIC website because I am afraid of a rejection my request.
I'm afraid it is not recoverable but I wanted to ask your opinion just to make sure.
Thank you,
Alexandre
