What is the visa type that I must apply for to enable my child enter Canada? He was born outside Canada while I and my wife are PR holders. Some people say that the worst case scenario is rejection of the visa. Is it true? Do you know anyone who has been through a case like this? was the child given a visa? please advise. thank you
 
Temporary Resident Visa (TRV), but you should apply to sponsor the newborn for PR right away. As I have learned here their applications are processed quicker in many cases.
