I have planned to visit Nigara falls from USA, California. I heard that it is very good when we look from canada side. but I do not have canadian visitor VISA (As per their website cic.gc.ca I have to have canadian VISA to enter).
I also heard that we can apply for visitor visa at US-Canada border near Niagara falls. they normally give visa in 2-3 hrs after checking documents.
my question is, Is canada VISA office open on weekend near nigara falls? if I reach there on Saturday or Sunday will they do it?
I checked on cic.gc.ca, Buffalo office is closed on weekends?
Any idea, if I walk in to Los Angeles office with application form, all documents and fees, will they do it in one day?

1. Urban legend, you can't apply for a TRV at the border. You must apply for it at one the Canadian offices in the US.
2. CHC offices in the US are open Monday to Friday, and they are not open everyday for walkin applications. You will have to check their web sites. http://www.cic.gc.ca/english/information/offices/missions.asp
3. For the instructions for Los Angeles see: http://www.canadainternational.gc.ca/los_angeles/visas/apply-how_a_demande-comment.aspx?lang=eng
