Visa Rejected under SPP...need advice on appeal and its chances

Hi..
I applied for Student visa under SPP on24th of july...got my passport yesterday stating my reasons of rejection is my previous education.
Can any one suggest wat can i do to appeal against it? as I heard it can br done..and wat are my chances of getin visa?


Course Applied- Event Management(Grad Certificate)-Algonquin College

Profile-

10th-67%
12th-64%
B.com-46%

PGDEM(Post grad Diploma in Event Management)-72%

IELTS- 6.5 (none less then 6)

2 years experince in Event Industry (atleast 50 natinal and local events)

Plz help..

I think it is because of BCOM, as par my knowledge bcom is related to finances, banking or commerce and even management looks completely different from it. Next time if you apply i will suggest you to show any subject from your bcom course which may have similarity to subject in course which you want to take, like that you can show some relevancy and convince the interviewer. I think now you can apply through general category.
