Hello everyone,
Masters in Economics (Saint Mary University)
SDS
Bank Statement CAD 31000.
Sabbatical letter, experience letter attached, gap period covered with job letters
I submitted my visa application on the 29th of May along with a very strong SOP.
besides, I have attached the refusal reason here.
I am not satisfied that you will leave Canada at the end of your stay as required by paragraph R216(1)(b) of the IRPR (https://laws-lois.justice.gc.ca/eng/regulations/sor-2002-227/section-216.html). I am refusing your application because you have not established that you will leave Canada, based on the following factors:
• You do not have significant family ties outside Canada.
• The purpose of your visit to Canada is not consistent with a temporary stay given the details you have provided in your application.
My mother is currently in Canada and completing her du duration for PR. my brother along his family is also in Canada
Kindly, Need your valuable suggestions.
Thank You

What was your rationale for taking the same masters again? That doesn't really make sense.

One of my biggest motivations to study in Canada arises from the fact that Canada is globally recognized for providing high-quality education with educational institutes that have a vibrant cultural diversity, where Canadian and International students can collaborate and learn in a supportive environment. I am specifically aiming to pursue my Master’s in Economics from a Canadian Higher Educational Institute because it will bolster my knowledge of how developed countries are creating productive and socially inclusive economies that align with the need of people, businesses, investors, and governments. Secondly, studying in Canada alongside international students will enhance my knowledge of global best practices, case studies, and trends in innovation that are redefining the field of economics.

This is a very generic statement about studying in Canada. This doesn't explain why you are taking the same Master's again. You need to address that if you are going to reapply and explain your progression of studies.

If your goal is to immigrate do you not qualify via economic immigration? What is your CRS score? In terms of your logic you could maybe justify the argument if attending one of Canada’s top schools but that is not the case in the situation. With your background and the fact that your family lives in Canada it reads wants to immigrate not genuine student. Are you currently working for an muultinational financial institution? If so ICT may be an option?

Try to find a reputed and specialized lawyer to appeal this. Maybe it can help.

Have you tried to increase your score? You specified that you already have a masters. If that is correct you should be able to increase your score. How old are you? Have you looked at PNP.
