Visa Received. Seminars to be attended are?

So finally, our visa was sent to us. It comes with our Confirmation of Permanent Residence (CPR) and some other papers telling us what to do next. however, it says there that we need to attend some seminars like CIIP, COA and PDOS. Is it required to attend that CIIP and COA? As far as Im concerned, PDOS is really required but I have no idea about the other two. Someone tell me about these please? THANKS

what immigration stream did you submit your application through? this is the family class board, meaning canadians/pr's sponsored their family to come to canada. there are no seminars needed for family class pr. if you submitted an application through another route (ie: FSW, PNP, etc), then you will want to post your question on the appropriate board. People on this board are not going to know much about required seminars for those who immigrated through another stream.

Looking through old posts, the OP appears to have applied through the LCP program. I believe they are also from the Philippines, which does have mandatory seminars for people leaving the country (from what I've read anyway).

I would suggest you post in the LCP threads or the Manila threads to find out what is required of you.
