Hello Everyone,

I applied for express entry and received the 'visa is ready to be issued' email about two months ago requesting that I submit my passports for the visa to be issued. The thing is, my wife is currently pregnant, so I emailed them back stating that I want an extension till the baby is born to add the baby to the application.

I received an automatic reply stating that I will receive a response in 15 business day. Now two months have passed and I didn't receive a reply. However, I received the same 'visa is ready to be issued' email again two days ago, the same exact email, but dated with the date from two days ago.

I don't know what to do now, they didn't reply to email, and i got another email asking me for the passports, should i just send the passports and deal with the new baby later (add the baby with me being a sponsor and so on later after the baby is born) or should i wait for their reply?

Any help is highly appreciated, especially if you have been in a similar situation.

Thank you!

Hi,
Its possible that emails replies aren't the best way to provide updates to your file. You should complete a web form:
https://secure.cic.gc.ca/enquiries-renseignements/canada-case-cas-eng.aspx

Perhaps also try to call the contact centre or to get directly in touch with the VO processing your PPR.

Best wishes and...congrats in advance for the new born!
