Hello to all members, got any idea how many days waiting until the visa package arrives? My application is processed at CIC Manila philippines and got decision made last august 17. The embassy received my passport august 18. Anybody got any information to share? Thank you very much to your posts.

I don't know but I too am waiting to get my passport back.... I wish it would come soon, being passportless is scary!

Thanks for the replies, but my case is very very different from the rest of CIC manila spousal applicants. I have the feeling my visa officer is new to his post. I already got a "DECISION MADE' in my e-cas, then they requested for my passport. This means MY VISA IS READY FOR PRINTING TO MY PASSPORT.

Other visa officers in manila aRE REQUESTING FOR PASSPORTS MUCH EARLIER IN THE APPLICATION, perhaps so as to avoid the rush in requesting for it once the visa is ready.

Sept 15 still there's no visa package.

Way beyond normal time. Most manila applicants receives their visa 3 to 4 days after DM.

My e-cas states 'medicals have been received..' so I believe there's a visa for me.

you got your DM for permanent residence application status?

the embassy got my wife's passport on the last week of july and my permanent residence application status is still "in process"

@ilovemywife

Your application is being processed within normal. Unlike me, I did not receive an AOR and PPR. My only passport request was through a call from the embassy saying my application is on its final decision so I have to send my passport ASAP.
