Visa on old passport

Recently renewed electronic passport but old electronic passport was valid until Oct 2022 and Visitor Visa was granted until Oct 2022. Can the visitor still visit Canada (until Oct 2022) using or showing both passports? FYI new passport has a field that references old passport.
