Visa for Newborn baby from India

My company applied for WP for both me and my spouse last year in Dec'21. We received the WP in March'22. We have still not travelled to Canada as we are expecting a baby in July'22. We are now planning to travel along with baby somewhere around Sept/Oct'22. Now my company says that for Dependent I have to process the visa on my own and it will reimburse all the expense. My question is that which Category Visa should I file for my newborn and how to do it. Can someone please guide me the steps to proceed ahead.

Thanks. But visitor visa is valid for 6 months only and my WP is valid till 2025. Do I have to re-apply for extension every 6 months for the kid.

Yes you can apply for a visitor record extension once inside canada showing your work permit application

Yes you can apply for a visitor record extension once inside canada showing your work permit application
