Visa Extension When OWP is on Process

Hello! I’m applying for Inland Spousal Sponsorship. My husband will sponsor me. We will send the application package probably this week. But now, I only have 2 months left as a visitor because the maximum stay is 6 months even though I have multiple entry for 3 years TRV.

Question:
1. When we send our application this week for OWP and Permanent Residence, do I need to extend my stay as a visitor?
2. Am I considered on an implied status if I did not extend my stay as a visitor but is waiting for the OWP and Permanent Residence applications?
3. If I’m considered as an implied status, will that affect the application or that’s alright?

I believe you have to maintain status while waiting for OWP and PR. You don't receive implied status with submission of PR application, but I think you get it after the OWP. I would extend status in case your OWP gets returned, by when you would be out of status.
