Visa extension medicals

Hey All, my brother in law whose been here in canada for over 6 months just got a email asking him to do his medicals, the problem is he's going back home in a little over a week from now. Does he still have to do his medicals ? If he has to and can't get a appointment in time here, can he do one from his home country ? Or is there any other way that he doesn't have to do medicals since he's going back him under the 30 days that they gave him to get his medicals . Thank you

Have him do the medical either in Canada or his home county. Otherwise IRCC views this as non compliance and it can cause problems later.
