Visa delay of massive 8 months. Applied in november 2018. Anyone else in the similar situation?

I applied for study visa on 10th november 2018 and still waiting for approval. After a long wait i got medical request on 30th april, gave medical on 9th may, medical passed on 16th may. Since then there has been no further update on my file. Anyone else facing similar situation?

sorry to hear this, i think it is very unprofessional for them to handle a study visa application for such a long period of time. i hope they approve your application soon and you can go study in Canada. For the school part, what have you tell them, did they transfer you into the next semester?
