Hello, I was accepted by the Nova Scotia Community College for the diploma program Energy Systems Engineering Technology program, however I'm scared about visa refusal since I have already a bachelor in Software Development Engineering. I'm 25 years old, I finished the bachelor in 2013, however I feel like the diploma course may be interpreted by the CIC as non-related with my career path, but I would like to know your opinions. Also, for my country it is not required to submit resume nor SOP letter, so this way how would they know if it's a related course or not?

Please let me know your opinions.

SOP and resume are not country based.. Unlike many countries Canada doesn’t require interview hence SOP and resume enhances your profile and helps your application look more presentable.. As for your course, I’d suggest you take up a Masters course. Don’t worry about gaps. Again your SOP should explain about your gaps and also additional credentials such as training certificates and employment certificates should be added if any. I’ve obtained visa after 3 years gap.. Hope my suggestions help.. Good luck..

Thanks, I have applied for master's degree in 4 universities, however I have received 2 refusals. Not sure why, my bachelor grades are 94% and IELTS 7.5. That's why I have sent in some applications for colleges, but now I see that was not a good idea :(

Take your time and think about it and do accordingly..
