Visa approval through email, but haven't received passport yet

Hi,

This is about one of my friend. She has got email approval about the visa from the Delhi Office, but she still hasn't received her passport yet.

Application Date: May, 22nd
Email approval: May, 30th

Lot of my other friend has received their passports in a day after of their approvals. Does it happen often or is there some wrong? Please let me know what needs to be done here.

Ask her to show some patience now at least after reading the approval email
She will get it soon.

Well, yea. I mean she is gonna do that, got no other choice. But, if anybody had any previous experience like this.

was it paper based or online she applied and also what is the status showing in the vfs website.....??

That was paperbased. And she has received an pdf documents saying all about the visa related stuff and says it has been approved. So, what you think about that?

Check the online status of your PP on vfc web.Note down the tracking ID and contact to the courier service..!

well congos then she just got it..
and also please check exactly what is it showing in the status of the vfs website when u check using ur tracking no.
this part is very imp. does it say ur passport is being dispatched

Yes. This is exactly what it is showing on VFS tracking system.

dude congos..tell ur friend that she just got her visa approved and the email in which she got about the visa stuff is nothing but the letter of introduction which needs to be submitted at the time of entry so keep that safe..
