visa applied on expiry date

Hello,
I am new here and I need help from anyone regarding extending study permit on the expiry date.

First thing first, I thought that I can still apply it on expiry date but I knew I could make it before midnight anyway (expiry on July 31st then I was applying around 11:57 pm on July 30th) After finalizing the IMM5709 form, I printed it successfully (no error message and right valid date) although there was a delay due to mild problem from the printer. After I upload the same file which was printed then the immigration Canada website blocked the uploading file and error message said that the validity of the date is already passed. While I was waiting for the print, I believe either I didn't save the right one so what I was trying to send was the wrong one (the form before the finalizing the last step) and meanwhile time already passed. Or right after I printed it since it is already passed midnight the validity of the date was changed and it can't take the IMM5709 form.

I do not know what to do I believe I still have one more day to apply but do I have to contact Immigrant office?

Summary: 1. Can people apply for the visa on the expiry date? 2. What if I have right IMM5709 printed on my hand but the one I have in my computer can't be accessed as it is since the date is changed?

Please any advice is welcome

Your post is a bit confusing. You mention June in your post - however it's July and today is July 31st (not July 30th).

When is your study permit expiring exactly? Which month and which day of that month?

I am sorry, I put the wrong date. The expiry date is July 31st and I applied late night on July 30th. I will change the date. I guess I was trying to figure out what to do and some how used the expiry date of the study permit from last year. Thank you. I will edit the post as well.
