I got email notification that my account has been updated. Upon checking the account it shows that my application has been approved and that I need to submit my passport. It’s been a week and I have not yet received the letter requesting my passport. Is this delay normal. What should I do to expedite the process. Thank you

Yes I did, no junk mail and no messages in my account. I am worried and not sure how to proceed. I planning to fly to Canada in two weeks and I am losing time with this unexpected delay.
Just an update. I filled in the webform from my CIC account twice, but no response was received. Finally I reported a technical issue thru my CIC account, and a quick response was received. I got an email requesting me to submit my passport to the VAC in my country. Problem solved.

Which country did you apply from? I have a issue where I submitted my medical upfront and it appeared on my online account when I linked my applicaiton and then it just disappeared after a day. Now yesterday they requested me to do a medical where as that's done. SO I submitted a webform as well as an email to the embassy with my medical receipt attachment but I just saw your message here and I reported it as a technical issue as well after reading your message. Since initially it did show you passed your medical and then just went
