I have a 5 years visa visit visa which will expire in October 2016.
1. Can I legally enter Canada in July 2016 with a return ticket in September 2016?
2. Is it compulsory to have visa and passport with more than six months validity before starting journey?
Is the validity of your Canada TRV until the date of your passport expiry (or even one month before that)?
If your passport is valid for 6 months or less from the intended date of entry to Canada.... then you may want to check with the airlines if they will allow you to board the flight.
You can enter Canada in July 2016.... however, your entry to Canada + the length of your visit may be restricted by the immigration officer who will assess your admissibility. This means your stay in Canada cannot be longer than the validity of your passport.
