Hello,
I submitted my passport to VFS Karachi office on 14 March, and the current status shown on VFS website is as follows:-
Your processed passport has been forwarded to Canada Visa Office, Islamabad on March 15, 2016. How many times do they update this tracking? Wont they update whether my passport has been received or not by CHC Islamabad?

Firstly congrats on receiving PPR. Regarding CHC Islamabad, they have been very inconsistent with their timelines in the past. There are people who got theirs in 60 days and those who got their passports back in a week. I submitted my passport on 1st November and got it back on 22nd November. So really, you can just hope that you don't have to wait long enough.

Is there any possibility to receive the passports in 14 days of processing. I have listened it as an average processing period the CHC, Islamabad would do.

Only CHC Islamabad can give you any surety about that. But yes, they do mention 14 days as their average time for visa stamping. As far as I have observed them, they do the stamping in batches, so it can happen within a week if there are sufficiently enough applicant who have submitted their passports at around the same time as yours. You will get your passport back but you will have to keep your fingers crossed in hope to get it back quick.

Congratulations! VFS was really kind to you. You will have to present your passport and COPR at the immigration counter once you land in Canada. The officer will ask you a few questions about your criminal records, keep one copy of your COPR and return the other copy to you. You will have to keep it safe.
