How long does it take for VFS to process applications in the Philippines. My parents have a biometrics appointment on the 18th of February. As per the website, it would take 14 days to process. Is this from the time they take their biometrics? Normally, how long is the process up to the approval/refusal of the passport?
Biometrics at VFS Cebu was fast. Just a couple of days after the appointment is was all submitted and done. The medical took longer. It was about 2 weeks for the medical to be processed at the Cebu doctor and recorded. In our case, both medical and biometric appointments were in the first week of December in Cebu. By the end of January we were already being asked to submit passports for PR Visa. Everyone is different. Ours was fast.
