Guys, when canada vfs will start working in india. I got my passport request on may 19 but is yet to be stamped. I heard that vfs will only open in September. If so what will be the situation of many students who got after march 18. Please do reply me...

Actually we can't enter as well if our classes are online. IRCC or CBSA should publish this information. I called CBSA to confirm, they said the same...

Where did u hear that vfs global will reopen in Sept.? I heard my RCIC consultant from my school told me that in late Sept. they will reopen to process the passport request letter but without no rigorous information. they recommended me to wait until that time ....

During June my agent told me they will open late August. Now my agent is telling that they will only open after September 30.

Don't believe agents. Check https://visa.vfsglobal.com/ind/en/can/ regularly. Any update will be posted first on website.

"...New Ministerial Instructions issued on July 1, 2020 have extended this measure until September 30, 2020." Lol, I guess we need to wait very long now. I do not trust about the agent's much because they also have to wait for announcements during this time and sometimes they interpret the information.

I just got my passport request on may 19. Only because of that iam starting online from September 8. I thought that Passport stamping will be done within September. Now iam little tensed that it may won't happen this year it seems... second year fees will be a big question mark

Where do u apply from? Can u share ur timeline. I thought the passport request has not been issued since March. I saw a lot of people applied earlier but still have no updates in the application.

I applied under SDS online on feb 4
Done biometrics on feb 12
Got passport request on may 19
Bangalore, India.
