Hi Members
I went today to the university (Karachi Uni) and paid them the fee for providing me with the transcript in the Sealed envelope and they said they will take 10 days for the procedure. They asked me to provide them a photocopy of my original transcript and they will seal the photocopy in uni's envelope and will provide me after 10 days.
Now the concerned thing is i saw my visa office (London) guidance and they have mentioned " Transcripts: original transcripts of all degrees must be submitted in university-sealed envelopes..
I am worried because university did not take the original transcript rather they took the photocopy of the original for sealing it, and the visa office has mentioned original transcript ???
They are always copies, they copy the transcript and put their stamp or seal on it and seal it in an envelope. I think they just mean they don't want you making a copy of what the university gave you. Don't open the envelope from the university and send it with your documents.
It is not possible to retrieve original transcripts again from the university and if University is agree to provide original transcripts then we have the pay lot of money.

Hi
Don't worry.
You do'n need to send your transcript in university sealed envelopes.
Just prepare a certified copy of your transcript and send it to London CHC.
We did it.
Good luck
canada_future we did the same about the transcripts. In Romania, no university will release another original transcript, only a duplicate of it, in case you loose the original; therefore we took the decision not to send our originals to the visa office; so we did notarized copies, went with them to the university, and the university put them in an envelope, wrote their address on it, and stamped it. I think that VO should be aware of the fact that every country has its own rules and procedures...I think that we, and here I mean to the people who don't live in their country of citizenship, know how difficult is to gather all the documents necessary for the VO. For us, it took time, a lot of money, and many headaches...I don't want to mention the fact that in my country, the universities don't even have personalized envelopes; I can't compare the univ. from US or Canada, with the univ. from my country, as an example...sad but true.
