Very straightforward question about names on all forms, but need clarification

Hi,

Family name(s) is highlighted in red, whereas given name(s) is not. We are just wondering whether to put our full names in the "family name" box or to put our last names in the family name box and our first and middle names in the "given name(s)" box. Is first and middle name not as important and therefore not required? Why aren't both boxes highlighted in red?

It would help if you specify which form you're referring to. I don't understand what you're saying about red/highlighted boxes - I believe they only show red when the information hasn't been entered acceptably and it's showing information is missing there. (It may not show red for all empty boxes at once). Given names at any rate are also required. (There may be individuals who only have a single name in which case it goes in family name box - that is, there are cases where given name box may be empty)

But yes, last name in family name box, given names (first and middle) in given names.
