Very important question for an international student

if our study permit and visa approved in our home country
and we have a student visa s1
can we enter canada while waiting our paper to be done ? cz i did a deferral from winter term to September term so i will need new caq


the main question is
can we enter canada with student visa without going to the immigration officer?
till our paper get complete we go to the immigration office and show him the Loi +CAQ+LoA+THE VISA AND THE PASSPORT?
OR WE SHOULD WHEN WE LAND CANADA WE OBLIGATE TO GO TO THAT IMMIGRATION OFFICE TO ISSUE OUR STUDY PERMIT ?

my problem is i got my visa after education starts
06 january is the university
i got my visa on 3 february
so i will need to make caq again and letter of acceptance
can i visit canada in that time ? as a vistor under my student visa and after my papers complete will do my study permit ? as my study permit approved
in my home country?

Theoretically you may. You still have to go through immigration and there will be much more questions and a great risk that your entry will be denied.

On www.cic.gc.ca find OP 12 in Operational Manuals and read carefully about SP.

In your case

06 january is the university
i got my visa on 3 february

you are TOOO LATE. Studing process in Canada is very intensive and it is the end of February. No way you will be accepted into program at the uni. Apply for a new LOA for May or September, bring it to POE. You "visa" from VO is for entrance only, officer at POE will decide how long you could stay on SP. so if in LOA they say the program is May 2014 to XXX, officer will be able to issue SP from May to XXX.

You should do that before applying to Uni and visa.
And not after.

You can come for "exploriing" coulpe of weeks before (not after ;D) the beginning of program.

the question is i heard some people saying that if i need to apply for a new caq then i need to apply for a new study permit application??


( i have current visa to canada and a study permit application approved on my old caq ) my caq still valid to December 2015
