Verification of Status (VOS) - How long to get VOS confirmation in email?

Hi, I lost my landing document and have applied for a verification of status. I first sent a mail with all required documents (including IMM 5009) on March 13, but IRCC did not receive it. I sent another mail with the application and all my documents in May.

I need it to renew my Indian passport at the earliest. The consulate rep at Vancouver mentioned that they can't do it without the email confirmation for VOS.

Has anyone applied for it recently? How long does IRCC take to process my and mail send a confirmation mail? I don't know why my previous mail in March was never processed. I sent all required docs as per checklist and sent to right address.

6 months but with this pandemic maybe more. I attached my employer offers and I got it in 1 month.
