VALIDITY OF POLICE CLEARANCE CERTIFICATE FROM USA (FBI Clearance)

Hi Guys,

I'm a PNP nominee and my visa office has asked me to submit the USA PCC for my spouse. I had obtained the PCC in March 13 so it is 9 months old. I could not send it with my form at the time because of lack of time.

Can someone please tell me if I can send this? Is it still valid? how long the FBI Clearance is valid?

I've requested for FBI clearance again but it will take 6-7 weeks and I don't have 6-7 weeks.

PCC is generally valid for 1 yr from the date of issue.

Do you know for sure that it is valid for 1yr? I mean have you read it anywhere or confirmed from Canada?
Just want to be double sure.

Remember reading somewhere on CIC website. I told because my PCC expired in Nov 2013 and they asked for my PPR and Medical in Nov 2013, but they didnt ask PCC again. So, i assumed since it was taken Nov 2012 and in Nov 2013 they didnt ask, so it was still valid.

Thanks for reply. Just cross checked on the document check list for the applicaiton form to CIC it says PCC is considered valid for 12 months.
