I am expecting to get an ITA in the next few months and already have my PCC from India ready.

However, I am travelling to India for a month soon. Does my PCC become invalid if I travel to my home country (as suggested by many on several platforms)

The immigration website specifies this for Express entry PCC:
We’ll accept it if:
  • it was issued after the last time you stayed there for 6 months or more in a row
