I intend to apply for an extension on my expired CoPR visa next month, to travel at-least by the end of November. My worry is that, there is some uncertainty surrounding my departure date and that I wont be able to fly even in November and that my extension will expire as well.
Does anybody have any information on how long these extensions are granted for, if it is for six months or less?
Anybody who applied for an extension on their expired CoPR? please any information is greatly appreciated

It appears that you have to prove that you are going to travel before an extension is granted. Would apply now with proof of your flight since timelines seem much longer than 30 days.
Yes you are supposed to prove that you have a confirmed flight but there have been lots of stories about extension requests not receiving replies or taking a very long to receive. It doesn’t seem like the system is working well especially from some countries. Personally would only book tickets if they are refundable.
I have not received. Have not even requested it. I was planning to raise my ready to travel webform now, since my copr issued before march 18 has expired by august 1st, but now we should wait until IRCC contact us asking if we are ready to travel. Source:
