I'm currently going through the printing process at home with the Family Class Sponsorship for PR with the husband. However after clicking validate and printing, the barcodes (that have shown on my previous IMM applications last year) do not show and there is simply a blank space on the page with IMM5709_07_2014_1 etc underneath each blank space. Should this happen?
Are you using MAC? or PC? I had this same problem and tried doing every single trouble shooting tip they gave on the website and forums. It was only after when I switched computers did I realize it was because MAC adobe wasn't compatible with the forms.
Same problem here - the solution is to use a PC instead of a mac. You can even validate the file and reopen it on a PC and you will be able to see the barcode.
I had this problem and turned the application in with the blank spots. At the time I was really confused and thought that was the way it was supposed to be. I just got DM. So either it doesn't matter too much or I got a really understanding worker handling my case.
I'm guessing it was an understanding worker because I've heard other folks on here say that they had their application returned because they didn't put "n/a" in spots that didn't apply to them (like on the use of representative form). I just didn't send in the use of representative form because I wasn't using one and my application didn't get sent back.
I guess some workers are just real sticklers for rules?
Hopefully you got this sorted, anyone else reading this - you need to use an older version of Adobe reader for Mac, the latest version produces the blank spaces instead of barcodes.
