Validate if app filled out by hand?

For some reason, I'm not able to change or input info into some of the documents -- it's not grayed out, just won't let me type into it.
So, I need to print them and finish filling out by hand.

Do I still click on Validate when I'm done? Or, is that only for forms typed in?

That would apply to the online versions only. It is an electronic signature basically. a printed version needs to actually be signed.

I think it depends on what forms you are referring to. Some needs to be completed online I believe. These would be needed to validate. Maybe you have a problem or have changed your acrobat pdf format. It could be only readable version. I remember I had problems as well... Could not edit some of the forms. So I just started new ones when I knew I could completely fill them out and print it same time.

If you need to fill some of them out by hand, don't worry.

Validating them only inputs the information into the bar codes that are generated. This will allow CIC to simply 'scan' your data into their system. Without a validation they will have to input the data manually.
